North Dakota Native Vote was founded during the 2018 election as an advocacy group to help organize and fight back against a voter suppression law that went into effect just weeks before Election Day.


NDNV is now a permanent, full time, year-round organization working in North Dakota. Our goal is to build power for Native communities by educating, training, and mobilizing tribal members on key issues that affect the well-being of their communities.

State & Tribal Policy Coordinator

Are you a motivated and passionate professional looking to join a team that works to make positive change in our communities? North Dakota Native Vote is currently seeking a State & Tribal Policy Coordinator to help us study the impacts of laws, state policies, and regulations on the Native American communities of North Dakota. The Policy Coordinator will conduct research, utilize statistics to evaluate outcomes of existing policies and provide analysis for reporting and potential new policy initiatives. If you have the skills, experience, and enthusiasm to excel in this role, we want to hear from you.

Field Organizer

The North Dakota Native Vote Field Organizer will help foster sustainable, positive social change in our tribal communities through community organizing, leadership development, civic engagement, and public policy advocacy. The Field Organizer works to engage tribal members in constructing a representative democracy by working in reservation communities. The Field Organizer will work to engage tribal communities through our Get Out The Vote Campaign, Rural Electric Coop Campaign, and Grassroots Democracy Project. Candidates will recruit new stakeholders, organizers, and community champions to empower our communities to take action.


Position: Field Organizer
Location: Bismarck, North Dakota (remote location will be considered for ideal candidate)
Type: Full-time exempt
Salary: $42,000

Office Administrator

North Dakota Native Vote is seeking a responsible Office Administrator to perform various administrative tasks. This is a part-time position that will work 20 to 30 hours per week. The expectations of the Office Administrator include providing support to our team by assisting with daily office needs such as monitoring inventory of office supplies, equipment, appliances, and electronics; greeting stakeholders or partners and ensuring they are connected with the right personnel; managing our organization’s general administrative activities such as purchasing, accounts payable, and personnel files. Candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools like Google Suite or Microsoft Office. In addition, they are passionate about creating and maintaining office infrastructure to enhance staff productivity and comradery.


Position: Office Administrator

Type: Part-time (20-30 hours per week) Non-Exempt
Salary: $18.00/hour
