This week we want to feature one of our very important board members: Jody DeLong Sr. "Misko Noodin Binesi" our NDNV Board Chair. He's been with NDNV since 2023. He started his career in higher education as a student at Turtle Mountain College, where he developed a strong passion for learning and community engagement. Through dedication and persistence, he worked his way through various grant-funded positions, gaining valuable experience in tribal governance, research, and community development. HB 1455 “Legislative Measures by Indian Affairs Commission” — Committee hearing in Senate Judiciary on April 2 at 9:00am in the Peace Garden Room.

HCR 3001 “State Funds Investment” — Committee hearing in Senate Industry & Business on April 1 at 2:30pm in the Fort Union Room.

HCR 3003 “Constitution Amendment Threshold” — Committee hearing in Senate State & Local Government on April 4 at 9:30am in Room 216.

The Cycle 2 application for the Thriving Communiti The Cycle 2 application for the Thriving Communities Grants Program is closing soon. These grants aim to support projects for 28 federally recognized Tribes and in Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. Submit your application by 1 p.m. MT on Monday, March 31. Apply at https://mapejgrants.org.
